Tea... It probably won't kill us.

Unlike some beliefs about health food and healthy drinks, tea is one of the good guys -not on the naughty list like soy. Tea can do so much by being consumed regularly.

Favorite tea? English and black. :)

Drinking tea has been proven to give health benefits through the years. It is indeed anti-oxidant and the effect of lowering your cholesterol level decreases your risk of having heart attack or heart disease.

Drinking four or more cups of tea every day could be more beneficial than drinking water. They say that tea not only rehydrates you as well as water does, but it can also offer protection against heart disease and cancer. It is commonly thought that drinking tea leads to loss of fluid and may lead to dehydration. But according to researchers, the water in the tea can actually help replenish fluids in the body.

This post did a great job of breaking down the health benefits of tea. There are many myths about tea and it's health benefits and it'll be interesting to see what research finds throughout the years. It seems that tea has more health benefits than coffee and has a similar effect, due to the caffeine. I think tea's greatest benefit is the antioxidants they provide which have been proven to decrease the chance of cancer.
